Pick a girl
Go through the training scenario and raise their stats to whatever you need them to be and do races/get skills
Complete their list of objectives along the way, most of the time its just placing xth in a race but sometimes its fan count, and finish their scenario
Races are automated, you have no actual input in them, and are dependant on what stats and skills you've gotten
At the end of the run, which is like 60 "turns" or whatever, you get a copy of your girl with all their stats/skills that you can use in other modes like pvp
You can also use them for inheritance where you can pass on certain traits/skills/stats to a different gir you wanna train,, but what you can pass on as inheritance is rng and where a lot of the bullshit comes from
Costumes are considered alts, so their own separate version that you have to roll for with different unique skills and whatnot, though they come with a different training story too.
