This is largely true

There's a soul trap after death involving the tunnel of light, but it's the opposite of what people here say

In fact, the trap is ignoring the tunnel of light and trying to escape through the "holes in the soul grid"

There are two astral planes: an upper one and a lower one, the upper world is a pure dimension full of love and light where all of your dreams can come true, and the lower one is more of a mirror of this world, sure, you can do a lot more than you can here, but it kinda sucks, it's full of assholes and there are people who take over parts of the plane and declare it their own personal kingdom, just like here

The goal is to reach the upper astral plane: unlike the lower one, it can't be reached by a living human, no matter how hard you try, and if you think you have you've reached a part of the lower astral where you'll be lovebombed and convinced to try and escape the tunnel of light

It takes time, effort, patience and dedication to be allowed to enter the upper astral, there are no cheat codes, and if you truly deserve to be there, you won't even see a tunnel of light at all, you'll just wake up there after dying

I've never AP'd, I'm just going by what other people have said as well as my own personal experiences

I'm not going to tell you what to do, you have to make that decision on your own, but I hope you'll take what I've said into account
