I vastly prefer aztec lizards to angelic lizards, but I very much liked the idea someone presented of either having stormcasts that get reforged fused together with dracoths into dragonmen of some kind, or dracothion having his own race of humanoid dragonmen paladins that could fight side by side with stormcasts as additional units to their roster.
I also think this extra (sub)faction of not!lizardmen would hardly step on the feet of the classic lizardmen, and if anything it would serve to bridge the gap between the aesthetic and theme of stormcasts and the one of lizardmen who are technically amongst the closest allies to sigmar, weirdly enough, and have been since the first books of the setting, but they just don't look the part at all.
I also viscerally dislike the name seraphon for lizardmen, so I'd appreciate it a lot if it was actually the name of these true children of dracothion, and if lizardmen were called seraphon too only because azyrite scholars wouldn't know any better.
