The OP depicts a simulation of lowered camera exposure. This is what it would look like if you took a picture with your phone of two screens next to each other with the sun through a window right behind them to trigger camera darkening, i.e. contracting pupils. Obviously, you can't just compare two screenshots as is, for you would need HDR in the first place to see the difference.
