yeah i can't really get into the mindset of wearing a metal helmet or a plate carrier in airsoft. for some reason it just rubs me the wrong way, even though i love stuff like real steel type guns and GBBs. something more "functional" like pic related makes more sense to me.

i do also appreciate a deliberate setup like wearing vietnam GI gear. maybe it's because it's actually closer to actual historical RP rather than just putting on random tacticool shit for your own donut steel mall ninja setup
