Combat is ass, endgame crisis can end your 50 hour run instantly depending on your luck. Just gets increasingly tiring and stale with each run as you go through the same motions over and over. I don't know how people rack thousands of hours in this.

Broken ass game with a dysfunctional economy, UI is a nightmare, nothing seems to work properly and it takes absolutely forever to make any money to buy anything but the shittiest shit boats. Played X4 for about 90 minutes to conclude that it's the same but in hi-def with hideously ugly character models to boot.

Out of all JRPGs I've played this one stands out by having the most infuriating character cast, I couldn't stomach the story past 30 hours because I just wanted everyone to die as painfully as possible.
