For me the most mysterious and interesting part of the game was the area outside the map. I would really love a game like subnautica with more this type of tone. I'd love it if the epipelagic zone was much brighter and had smaller and less intimidating creatures and as you approach the demersal dwellers, light becomes really scarce (little bits of sunlight and mostly bioluminescent creatures and your own sub's light) and the creatures start looking truly horrific and alien. Very little music, mostly swimming slowly, just gradually approaching you...

I also think the monsters are too small. I want bigger fish - WAAAAY bigger, like the size of an island.
