Actually, I played VII before, just never managed to get into it due to lack of proper characterization. 7R character being so alive and having so much to say is the reason I started enjoying the cast of OG 7 that barely opened their mouths for a game that long. If not for Remake, I'd clock out right after Cloud went snowboarding 10 minutes after losing the love of his life.
