Of course it was government overreach, and not inefficient spending and poor quality output catching up to the former greats of the American industry. It's not like it's Ford's choice to push out 3-cylinder Ecoboosts with timing belts that are slowly disintegrating into motor oil that they bathe in. It's not like it's EA's choice to torch every franchise they have and send their devs to slave in Battlefield mines.
