The problem with the mosquito lamp is it doesn't just attract mosquitoes, it attracts every insect. Including termites. The irony of these things is that you end up with a ton more mosquitoes, and also now your house has a termite problem.
The better option is that you get a bat house. If you live anywhere near fresh water they'll show up. One bathouse can fit ~100 bats (they pack themselves in) and a single bat will eat something like 2000 mosquitoes. And I would much rather have 1 bat than 2000 mosquitoes.
You can plant sunflowers underneath the bat house, and they will thrive from their droppings.
