Maybe I'm too big of a shounenfag but I honestly do not mind the existence of Mang/Shin. Fate made had me get used to "infinite worlds rumao" but they at least one bothered to explain how it works and not give a new explanation every game. Demian's blue fags can fuck off until they become relevant though.

Heath is who he lost his arm to once he started his rampage after Cathy died. What parts would be a lie and which bit of Paust/Ryo's stories wouldn't line up though?

My only guess would be that it's someone like Demian or Sanson (related to the group or not) is stepping in to push Dante forward in the direction they need to for the "sake of journey" like they and in the way they want it to like the other 3 have done. Getting an Arbiter this early might just trivialize the whole thing hence why we haven't gotten those (yet).
