What are your thoughts on acog vs red dot for SHTF carbines and the larue LQD mount?
Like I think a red dot makes more sense for something like what happened to kyle or general hd or any scenario that is likely to happen and an acog only makes sense for muh red dawn but I have an acog and I have a sig romeo 5 kind of sitting around.
I'm thinking of buying mount related and then keeping the sig on my carbine and that way if something happens like the sig breaking or the battery dying or if I need to put it on a different gun for hunting or something I can just stick the acog on without needing to zero it again.
how well does the larue mount keep zero and does it keep the acog at a similar height to the factory mount?
