Even if you were to not take gameplay into consideration, which is a wild thing to say, the setting, story, and design/personalities are also drastically different. If you can say BG3 is a gay alternative to LaDS you can also say any other 3D rpg with a gay romance is a alternative. Funny enough if you said something like a Mass Effect game, Rouge Trader, or even Dragon Age Veilguard, those games arguably have more in common with LaDS than BG3.
