anyway as crime commissioner she was clearly a career politician and said/did things i disagree with then one day i went all the way to Scumderland for a BBC Cost of Living debate at the Fire House (good venue tbqh)
not ONLY did Nicky Campbell not pick me even though i had my hand up for ages, he got her response multiple times and she said fuck all. i think poverty creates crime (it just does) and you'd think she has stuff to say about it all or what they're doing about it. but she just said obvious waffle about how crime/criminals = bad
bloke even goes to her at some point about how "and, some would say, this is CAUSING crime" (i.e. we should be preventing it, not going after criminals after-the-fact) and you can't see on the radio because it's the radio but she just gave this cocky little smile and it all moved along

so now Kim McGuinness the Mayor is in my enemies list. and so is Nicky Campbell, the BBC Radio presenter.
