but guitar is far more accessible culturally than clarinet or French horn for example, so guitarists spend years in the weeds that band kids learn in their first 6 weeks if theyre dedicated to the craft
the difference is that guitarists generally learn outside of the musical narrative, thats what we love about them, versus deeply musical yet soulless artists like that one hapa guy that plays every instrument terribly with the baritone voice whose name eludes me
