Working fine is something of an overstatement. It works, but it needs a little bit of a push to get it going. Like vauguely stating how they should react, and if that doesn't work, be less vague. Otherwise they all act like a bunch of virgins with no idea about even the concept of sex. Telling Pinkie how to use Fuck in a sentence was a wholeass conversation, and Dash saying "Fuck me yourself you coward" was more or less me fucking around and telling her to say it.

On the upside, once the shove is made they stop acting like virgins and you can get some pretty hot scenes out of it.
