Someone gifted me one of those tac lights that's supposed to be super durable a few years ago. Shit broke on its own in like a year. Took 3 AAA batteries which I've never seen a flashlight take an odd number of batteries and corroded the batteries super fast. You basically had to leave the batteries outside like shotgun ammo taped to the side.

I barely even used it and kept it in storage until I finally needed it for some repair work. Shit wouldn't cut on at all. Replaced the batteries, clean all the corrosion. Work for a bit then just goes fuck all and never works again. How the fuck did flashlight quality go down? I had shit from my grandparents time that still work.
