I went basic, did some texture, then 3 red pigments for a "mars" looks. Originally wanted to do istvaan 5 themed bases but the black on black was shit.

Painted the rims black once they were varnished aswell.

Its a shame 80% of my play group just dont care for "fully painted" like we did a huge 6v6 4K fully painted, known since January to be ready. (most these people had the armies pre 2.0) and some of them still couldnt finish a 4k force.... Sadens me deeply
