Something I just noticed with twitch ads, if you mute the stream during ads and tab out the ads will pause. That's been like that for a while, simple way to avoid it is to set the volume to 1% then tab and do whatever.
Now though, every time an ad starts, as in a new separate ad beginning during the ad roll, it sets the volume to 100%. Doesn't even matter if you have the window visible or not, you could be sitting there slack jawed staring at the ad at 30% volume and it will jump to 100% because you really, really need to hear this super funny Taco Bell ad. That is, unless you muted it which obviously still works like normal, paused ad.

Don't even start with the "use an adblocker" shit either. I know, I'm not retarded, I use one, I just wanted to see how aggressive they've been from all the bitching about ads in past ESA threads this event.
