wow, i honestly don't know what to say other than i'm sorry. it reminds me of seeing Americans complaining about their lives online, claiming it's a "3rd world country" and stuff. it just made me wanna go "if only we could switch lives for just one day so you'd see what real poverty looks like..." but it's true that you guys have it even worse in Vietnam and most of SEA. WELL, on the bright side, at least it's easier to make friends who're into Kamen Rider and Ultraman over there!! and that would be huge for me personally

most people don't have a solid grasp on English here, and those that do just move abroad. i'm not sure if there's any advantage in knowing it, at least it hasn't made it any easier for me to get employed
