these two factors have basically ensured that i've never been able to get into a single decently popular mobile otome despite being a yume. lads, tot, mr love queen's choice, etc. they play it so fucking safe with all the boys' designs and personalities that they bore me to death.
i actually strongly prefer more out there designs like you'd see in fgo and hsr but those games give nothing but crumbs and low-effort fujobait respectively. the closest i've been able to manage to my actual taste is twst and ikevil but the former lends itself much more to yaoi and the latter has practically no presence. i don't have the time to play any console otomes without taking so long i'd forget what was going on. life is suffering
