I missed out on this because I was such a fool. could’ve had her. Her. But no. I just stood there and watched her shine bright and attract countless moths until her light was smothered and choked underneath the grey of their wings, until a similarly bright light came and took her away. I could've asked MONTHS ago, but I didn't. And she walked away, her tail swaying like a metronome, counting out the beat of my eternal regret.
