OP is right, despite what some here might argue. The alphabet-diversity aspects of the game are splattered all over it, in bits and pieces. It's a boiled frog scenario, and they succeeded. Pic related is part of a diary from Shadowheart's childhood friend, Shadow being a prominent companion, so it isn't really minor at all. There are other examples, such as the dyke Aylin, which is a important character in Act 2. I could go on but the point is made.
Those being said, the game is solid. Just install Realms Restored and No-Alphabets mods, they help immensely to enjoy the game without all this forced rainbow bullshit.
