After this week's chapter folks are complaining about nepotism being a major factor in the story, it most certainly helps, but it isn't everything.

>Luffy
Sure he is the son of Dragon and Grandson of Garp, but Garp didn't teach him about haki battleship bags/etc..... He was rather behind the other supernova's when he got to Sabaody..

>Ace
Didn't get shit handed to him, Garp did a ass job of training him as well. No one taught him the haki basics before setting out in the world. He didn't even learn swordsmanship.

>Teach
lived on Whitebeard's ship for years, didn't get any special training and got a shitty glove instead. Had to scheme and plot to get everything. Honestly he could have begged thatch for the fruit, but still.

>Momo and Hiyori
Hiyori isn't shit wholesale, and Momo has no training with the adult body. Also their grandfather was was good craftsman, but didn't have much battle prowess nor did he educate anyone on the craft.

>Katakuri
None of Big Mom's kids are really that out there aside from maybe Katakuri and Cracker.

>Law
His parents were normal doctors, he climbed up on his own, and fell because he didn't have man power.

>Same with Kidd
Got pretty far, but he didn't have man power and fell flat.

>Caribou
he ain't shit, even with a good logia

Nepotism isn't as big of a deal as folks are making it out to be.
