Maybe around Shadowbringers or Endwalker, but many I've interacted with lately were quite eager to discuss the faults of the game. In fact, even in the earliest days of Dawntrail I ended up talking to a group of people in Heritage Found that openly complained about the plot just being shit. Earlier, when hunting for interesting personalities, I ended up having a pretty curious conversation with one of the venue "workers", that was complaining about how the whorehouse they ran ended up discriminating against random customers because the place ended up being flooded with the friends that the leadership that only accepted offers from their friends. It was funny, pretty much felt like interviewing a prostitute about the woes of her job. Looking back on it, I always get the urge to send tells to randoms prompting a conversation in search of something interesting.
