Live-service games don't violate anything because they aren't your property. You're granted an indefinite (or limited) right to use them, but they don't become your possession. You're not buying ownership; you're buying access, and that access can be irrevocably revoked at any time, as you're WARNED in the user agreement.
That's the whole point of the term "games-as-a-service." If you don't like the concept of live-service games, just don't spend money on them, and that's it. What's the problem with not using something you don't like? I don't like avocados, so I don't eat them, but I'm not demanding an immediate ban on avocados or that they be made tastier FOR ME at a government level.
It's just rational that if there's a live-service game, you should decide whether to accept those terms or not.
