>Possibly. I've put a lot of thought into what degree(s) to get from where and have arrived at an MBA next, but that's just my current plan rather than a foregone conclusion.
MBAs are worthless without a plan. If you don’t know why you want an MBA, don’t get one. My cousin got an MBA because his company offered to pay for it, and they promoted him right after he finished it. That’s the kind of shit an MBA is good for. Or a school with clout on your resume, like Stanford. It’s also good for networking, but if you get an MBA at fucking WVU or some bullshit, you’re networking with future used car salesman. Big whoop.
>I was aiming for University of Washington, so like T25 if that makes much of a difference.
I’m not sure UofW has enough clout to fucking mean something unless, like I said, you’re trying to advance a career you already have. I’m sure it’s a solid program, but I wouldn’t expect to get sniped by Amazon corporate because you get an MBA from UofW.
>I mean I also plan on applying to MIT and Stanford and shit, but that's because they have free applications for veterans, not because I have any expectation of actually getting in to elite schools.
Worth a shot. Are your GPAs good?
>I need to blow my GI Bill on something,
There’s better things to “blow” your GI Bill on than an MBA from “somewhere.”
>I want to experience a real school,
I wouldn’t expect any frat parties as a 30-something MBA student, but the college experience is still fun. It’s way better as prior-mil because you actually have money and can drink legally and don’t have to work at the campus Starbucks to afford your book fees. The college experience actually sucks if you’re poor.
>and getting more stuff to put on my resume is always cool.
Like what? Gay pornstar? Truck stop male prostitute?
Padding the resume is nice, but you could also make it meaningful somehow too.
I’m not saying an MBA is bad. Just know why you want it before you pursue one
