The corruption in my lodge goes in several directions. At the moment, the Worshipful Master is an alcoholic with no regard for human life. He is also mayor of the small town I live in. The Master of my lodge was abusing his daughter, a longtime friend of mine. She never admitted it to me openly, because she knew I was a member of her father's "secret group". The police were called by her a couple times; and the officers disregarded it because of said membership in the Lodge. I found out when she showed up at my house a few months ago at 1:30 AM, bruised and beaten. I actually confronted the Worshipful Master directly the next day. I was threatened with all kinds of miscellaneous things; and I have been harrassed by the police lately as well whereas I've never had an encounter with the law my entire life.
