Stand near teammates and/or a a sentry.
Hitting an MG on a skilled player is very difficult.
Demo has to hug sniper and then crouch to kill with caber.
Both of these loadouts neuter you against the rest of his team.
Spy has to pull out his gun against a razorback sniper making it much more difficult to kill him and escape in time before a pyro turns you to charcoal.
These are all suicide plays at best. If you can't consistently kill him much less survive after the fact you're not really countering him.
>Scorch shot
Trivial to avoid at his range and he's the only class with an unlock that completely negates it. Really skilled snipers literally don't give a shit about afterburn and will headshot you anyway.

Doesn't actually solve the problem.
>Vaccinator
Arguably one of the most overpowered unlocks in the entire game and is awful to fight against as every class, not just sniper.

Sniper gets passive protection from his team just by standing near them you meanwhile have to get on mic and ask for support in a game where the bottom half of the server are borderline retarded.
