the MG connectors have ridges in them so that the connectors will not have full contact with the hole, making it have smooth connection, yet stiff and will prevent breakage due to stress.

with the RG, it isnt a problem due to its small size, so the connectors dont have ridges in them or just have one small ridge at the end.

since the fat cat is just a RG made to 1/100, the connector is very tight, stiff and prone to breakage due to stress
