it flopped because it had REALLY bad music, like, it repelled you away. it would have been better with no music and just SFX, like the music needs to be muted it is foul. and then the artstyle is also a big repugnant the purple looks sickly and the pale blue and yellow also look like a visual illness. and the very visible brush strokes on the artwork look intentionally-low-effort therefore reminiscent of slop. besides that, when playing it, you can become confused wondering whats next or where to go next. and not remembering why you came down this way, its just to explore.
