I was just checking the Wahapedia for the 8th edition and saw the roster to my surprise. I don't know why GW has it against mashing up stuff, Chaos Legions need to run a specific detachment to take daemons as allies as well. In the GSC index of 10th, you could get 25% of your stuff from Guard as well now it's locked to a dogshit detachment. I would not mind having a Leman Russ Battletank in my roster, I mean it would sell more models if people were allowed to.
