I rather would force players to pivot and maneuver more carefully by punishing them when they expose there sides and back to enemy units. Reward players for flanking. Give +1 to wound if you shoot or hit a vehicle in the side and +2 if its the back.

Some well armored vehicles can have less of a punishment then others.
Would also help to get knights a little back from the 75% win rates.

There is no down side for not pivoting, i mean you can show your back of your tank to enemy and its considered s the front. There should be a reward and risk but there is no risk involved in not doing it at all. GW fix the pivot rules please.

every warhammer website is flooded with people posting their 'lists' that they own no part of, by the time they actually build or paint any of it the entire list will most likely be out of date by then
Anyone who has sucessfully built a warhammer army knows you just need to keep getting cool models and you often end up with more than 2500 points by the time you actually reach 2000

There also seems this huge apprehension of new players to want to play 1000pt and 1500pt games on their way to 2000

GW really needs to do a better job of marketing low point 1000 pt and 1500pt games to get people to stick with the hobby, too many people get burnt out trying to chase the 2000 point dream in one shot

I played 1k games and they are an awful rush to who tables who first and you better have rules against big models like primarchs and Knights. Objectives? Thats for after the game

The game is just too balanced around 2k points. Some abilities are far too strong in a low point game while others dont have the time to pop off.

In the book Elemental Council its repeated a couple times that the Tau are planning on attacking Ultramar. Farsight vs Guilliman is one of my favorite matchups since its the author of the codex vs the mirror codex. I'd love to see it. To see his codex in the hands of an alien, to see that one of the greatest students of the codex is an alien that's reverse engineering it. I think it'd be neat.

The only direction that I think wouldn’t be disappointing would be the transhuman supremacy angle. Full human replacement as the goal, Big E and Malcador realize they need a plan to take care of the Space Marines and even the Primarchs after it, but due to where it happened in the timeline, none of those plans are really acted upon by the time of the Heresy. Would be a neat tie-in to Gulliman’s own plans for Space Marines when the war is done, perhaps he was close, or even sympathetic to the lost Primarchs, which would by why he was apparently one of the ones behind the decision to erase them after the betrayal.

ngl when a regular Sisters squad can take two special weapons I'm not sure why a Sisters squad that can take four special weapons is a whole other unit.

Long story short, I was going to do a different army. I found D&D did spiders in a few types, I saw what I could turn them into and voila, I had an army idea.

120 Hormagaunts. 30 Genestealers. Broodlord. (3 neurolictors still WIP)
Makes for a 2k force with one enhancement as invasion fleet.

Was told about the "Murder world" and the idea originally was spiders that are genetic monsters from earth. Since they do mimic ants, and other prey, including smelling like them and acting like them. Full stealth, others make scarecrows they shake(south america, found a few years ago) among other things they do. Smart fuckers.

So yeah they got some Tyranid DNA and started acting like them after growing larger, but no super large ones. Since D&D doesn't make that huge of a set.

Figured people will like to play against D&D models and not printed ones.

I was in the same boat.. I thought eBay and other places should be full with old guard tanks.. but no. Those that are sold are often just 5€ cheaper than retail, and it's not really worth it if for such little difference in could buy a new one from a hobby store.
