>Japan is literally irrelevant to Superman's bottom line
But that's not what you said.
YOU said it'd be a hit in Japan, eating away kimetsu's box office (not happening with these numbers).
It's doing so poorly WB already lowered their expectations to 500 million WW.
So stop backtracking because you got superman HORRIBLY wrong and F4 is suffering a similar fate (nice of you to completely drop it from your arguments, guess you realized it's a lost cause)
>If not, he doesn't need it.
The fucking cope after two weeks hyping up it's japanese performance. Must I remind you of pic related and your post?
>Demon Slayer's new "movie" (more like TV episodes lol) is getting out-hyped by American capeshit and a family drama film. That's not '200-300 billion yen incoming,' that's 'burnout and fatigue hitting hard.' The hype just isn’t there, no matter how much you scream about legacy popularity rofl.

Your tears are delicious.
BTW, early reviews for Superman are OVERWHELMINGLY positive. This is easily an $800M hit.

Infinity Castle isn't even the most anticipated movie of July, sit down boy. It's getting our-hyped by white dudes in spandex in its own turf. Superman and Fantastic Four having a shorter runtime also means it gets more screening per day (Superman also gets more IMAX screenings than Demon Slayer in Japan btw). You had your time under the sun in 2020, lol.

Even on Yahoo Japan, people are saying this series is declining, lmao. Here are some of the comments from the Japanese:
>the movie editing of these recap specials is getting stale
>entertainment spending is down, adults are more cautious with movie outings
>infinity castle is going to bomb unless it surpasses the animation and pacing of the entertainment district arc
>i'm getting tired of seeing 'part 1 of 3' trailers, it's dragging now
>it won't cross 250 million yen unless it becomes a true social phenomenon again which is unlikely
