I've spent a decade in Chattanooga —a great outdoor city, perfect for families — but the highest paying jobs are all WFH (cause there's minimal tech infrastructure, here).
Honestly, I've been "on the search" for a smaller community... likely going to head to a 420legal state next (so nowhere 'round here).
But I would recommend Austin and Chattanooga, both, as wonderful communities TO THE RIGHT PERSON.
