this was around 2012 right? yeah, so i was probably in middle school and got all of my opinions from youtubers. so i don't think the hate is deserved.

i acutally really like that the story doesn't stop once they escape the first game, and they full dive into a variety of different games. all with their own rules and plots genres. sword art is a slice of life adventure, while gg is a murder mystery. it's really cool. especially when compared to modern isekai that just stick to the same European fantasy
