The thing you have to understand about the TikTok generation is that, by and large, they absolutely do not care about anything outside of their own preexisting purview and what is advertised to them, because they seemingly have no innate sense of curiosity for/interest in anything created before they were born. Even if they did, most of them lack the knowledge necessary to seek out and find that media. The only times they do end up "discovering" the classics is when it starts to trend on their social media platform of choice, either due to dumb algorithmic luck or because it got used in some sort of advertisement, as in your example. They only take exactly what is fed to them at nearly every waking moment of their lives.
