I dunno, man, maybe? She's never been bothered by killing before, I don't think it's going to bother her now.
>The obvious thing to say is the series needed some more episodes but even narratively, a time skip could have helped cement how each person feels and why. Things just moved so quickly. Nyaan and Machu are both interesting characters but they developed shockingly fast that it doesn't feel as genuine as I wish it did.

Now that I could see. Maybe Shuji attacks Nyaan and Machu comes to her defense with some really unearned "She's still my friend!" bit?
I really don't care about Shuji very much, but his role is pretty critical in these last two (three?) episodes. Considering how little time there is left and how little development Shuji's actually gotten, I assume he'll be tied closely to the disguised Char that's waiting in the wings. Maybe he'll be the actual final boss?
