>That the reason why people did poorly in life was because they weren't getting enough praise and if you boosted their self esteem, they'd do better.

>The opposite is true.
You did a good job expressing your stance but I still believe both are true. I non-verbal cues like body language, the way teachers unintentionally seat, punish, and send negative energy to students. A defiant student can take that negative energy and grow from it but that is not The Way for all student's and it is the responsibility of teachers to read the students. When teachers do that, they are appreciated and I am personally grateful that through my perils, I had some teachers above the FUD who exhausted they selves notwithstanding the entire bullshit schooling system.

Can you at least admit that architecture and room design influences our emotions? There is art as buildings that inspire as as well as set designs on Big Brother and reality TV that are psychologically skewed to cause conflict and people to be angry at each other... compulsory schools in America are an evolution of the mental asylums were people were re-socialized. Netflix's Love is Blind is really NPCs watching people be psychologically tortured into vulnerability so they latch onto love. For me, Palladio's architecture that allowed the air element to pass through freely inspires me. You can follow his work to learn how air can cool things down and carry sonics. Science is elemental.
