can i get a thinkpad for my bday tomorrow? ive been using the same lenovo g50 laptop from since i was 12 and i cant do anything i used to do in it anoymore, can barely run windows 10, performance is just as bad on linux somehow with the hassle that i cant get davinci or premier to run properly

sure it can browse the web and play movies and run roblox for my sister, but i want to do more stuff personally for myself like modeling on blender, recording games without lagging and faster video editing without constant crashes, and some light gaming like playing ultrakill and minecraft at 60 fps at least

that would be greatly appreciated to be honest, cuz at this point any cheap laptop made since the pandemic would be better than what i have rn but id love to have my own peronal laptop and leave the old one for the rest of my family, and id love for it to be a thinkpad cuz it would probably allow me to tinker with it more than the old one with better documentation and support
