I think you mean early G-Era. Late G-Era, the card designers shit the bed with so many "What were they thinking"-tier cards.
Early G-Era, every clan got standardized support: Grade 2 that does Clan thing when boosted, 1st Stride that +1 on hit, 2nd Stride that pushes for game.
It was a reset in power levels and was a great foundation that I feel was sort of wasted.
