America would have the advantage in a nuclear war scenario. But regardless, America doesn't fight direct wars alone except against third-world countries. America uses proxies. Germany was getting iron from Sweden/Norway. Why do you think Hitler invaded and occupied Norway? They also took the oil fields of Romania. Without which Hitler himself said the war would have been lost before it even got started.

Regardless, Germany lost because of the combined resources of America and the Soviet Union. If Germany had America's resources, it would have won easily.
