I'm gonna say "they do not significantly out perform structured and intelligent dry fire practice."
HOWEVER, shit is never black and white.

If they get you to increase the amount of dry fire you are doing because "lasers" is just what your particular brand of autism gets hard for. Or even if it will just fill your "I gotta do DA/SA so I'm gonna choose a less optimal pellet pistol" thing. Either way, if that's going to promote other good behaviors maybe it's a gimmick that's actually got some value, I'd endorse that.

Fwiw, I've used multiple of the high end laser cartridges and the mantisX rail mount too.
