This anon got a lot of slack, but the method is solid and something many pros have used countless times. It just lacks proper relationships and execution.

For example, when you draw the face, you can create a really nice line that defines the position of the wrist, face, elbow, knee, and foot. With that line, you end up with two triangles on either side to estimate the figure’s width.
