I'm not sure because on the one hand they connected pretty heavily to the Hidden Path in Survivor implying that could be a focus of the next game but then I could see them actually doing a noticeable time jump to around 0 BBY or just after when Kata is a teenager and Cal is training her or something echoing those parent-child sidekick dynamics in God of War and Last of Us which have become popular, which they already stealth introduced in Survivor with the party member mechanic where they occasionally help you on missions. Also because the bottom falls out of the Inquisitorius just before ANH there wouldn't be much of a conflict there for the Path to deal with I think with the Empire focusing more on fighting the Rebel Alliance. I don't think they'd set it so far in the future that it overlaps with Filoni and Favreau's post-ROTJ stuff because they don't seem to like other people playing in that space when they're still telling stories in it.

So yeah it makes sense for it be set somewhere in the timeframe of Rebels and Andor which is a pretty crowded space. I don't know if it'd connect to other things much with cameos but they do have a lot of leftover characters with ties to the Path like Quinlan, Ventress, Barriss, Fourth Sister and possibly Reva. Seeing an older Quinlan Vos in a video game would be cool, him and Cal can bond over their psychometry and love of Dathomiri women.
