Because what, then the Democrats will stop trying to ban things? They passed a mag ban in Vermont, a place with next to zero crime and that had no history of gun control beyond a suppressor ban that had been repealed. They didn't do it because they were antagonized or some othe excuse, they did it because the Democrats fundamentally are against civilians owning guns. Quit making excuses for these people.
