you seriously look at any location and you can't tell what game it's meant to be. it could be any old unreal engine asset flip or a piece of shit by bathesda.

Tale the OG game and its NPCs for instance. They all have elaborate clothing designs and hair styles, layered jacket combos, unique collars, scarfs, defining head-wear, spiked hair, ect
styles change between each area too. they all look distinct and styled, like the actually fit into the world of FF7.
Then you look at 7R and it's just generic unreal engine asset pack NPC #5. a fucking plank in a white T-shirt copy and pasted 1000 times.
they don't fit in to FF7. they look like uninspired NPCs that should be walking the streets of some open world GTA clone.
they do fit into 7Rs shitty environments because those are generic garbage too.
