Realistically speaking, she's going back to the past of next BFDIA episode or to the IDFB timeline to replace herself with her past version as to live the highs of her alliance again, whether she inevitably ends up fucking it up all over again for her to be stuck in a timeloop is up to speculation and how they handle this much timeline changing but letting them stay the same shenanigans.

For an actual answer, really, it does be a combination of a lot of factors, but for the most part, you kind of have to work your way up from the very bottom if you aren't closely related to other people in the big sides, so yeah, a bit of nepotism, but also a bit of giving your participation and building trust in the OSC.
