Willis hated Dreamwave for taking attention away from his favorite TF fiction- the Marvel comcis. From day 1. He also hated how the art was more detailed(i.e. they were upset they were unable to get a job doing TF comics like they had been trying to since the late 90s.)
Because Willis(and literal buttfucker M Sipher) run the TFwiki, they were able to convince people that Dreamwave was bad.
