Is the no attacking mages thing a new addition to the spell?
I don't know if it was that spell or maybe a different one with a similar effect, but in the first game I ever won I used it to pull this fucking guy into my capital, with the hopes of killing it out of friendly dominion so that it'd stop coming back and wrecking the shit out of me.
I didn't manage to permanently him and he remained a fucking pain in the ass until the end of the game, single handedly stopping me from taking the last 2-3 provinces Ulm had left for like 30 turns, but it was still a fun plan to concoct
